POLL QUESTION!!!

Should I build an actual 3d rendering system and post a demo of that as well?

hasn't this been done before?
I mean the raycasing example.
or is that something else?

(it sucked away all my RAM lol)

btw, maybe I should've mentioned this earlier, I appriceate your work! :)
lol

Thanks a lot Kall! That means a lot to me. The raycasting example is indeed an example of 3D rendered with 2D means, but I was thinking about doing something slightly different, like rendering 3D prisms that could be rotated in space to view all of its angles and features.

pretty cool! you should make a simple maze demo out of this so I, and others, could find a way to make it not a looped matrix, but instead plotted >if possible< thanx points ++

thank you very much Jimmy! I know what you mean by making a maze out of it, and unlooping, but there was a major problem with doing that unfortunately... By unlooping the matrix, the matrix would have needed to be a lot larger, and also the game would have crashed, if you had tried to go beyond 5 squares of the matrix edge. The reason for that is that the function that updates the player's view would tried to "see" a non-existant object. By looping I saved a lot of problems from arising. Thanks for the comment!

Ha ha, thanks a lot kirby! I love 3D! I'm doing this to gain programming experience really, and I sure am! ttyl!

I like GE better, GM doesn't take you far with game mechanics if you use its prebuilt stuff only.

Well, theres lot of problem in making games. The GM lots of bugs. The Ged, is nice, but i need FAST collision, I set the collision, the object falling to the wall, but it went over it... The GM also same, its so hard that i need to script.....
game editor make the graphic lagging, even just a little amount of objects, 10 - 20.Now the thing is, i need Water movement, which like real 2d water motion, when you shake the water, it will pour out of anything..... :D

Doing fluid mechanics is for experts only, since its so incredibly hard... I don't think I'd be able to make something like that yet...

Thanks! I could have made it so you can't go in a straight line infinitely though, lol.
