Glad to hear you didn't loose your files!

Remember: ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FLASH DRIVE

If the flash drive is the backup, then BACKUP THE BACKUP.

If the backup for the backup of the flash drive is a flash drive, BACKUP THE BACKUP FOR THE BACKUP.

If the backup for backup for the backup of the flash drive is a flash drive, BACKUP THE BACKUP FOR BACKUP FOR THE BACKUP.

Yep, learned that the hard way. xD

Don't worry, I've a Dropbox set up now to prevent any mishaps like this one from happening again~

I learned not having a backup for my flash drive the super hard way. Lost my files like TTM and had to restart.

That's why I use Dropbox. I got everything related to my game in two folders, one for the actual game and one for everything that will be shared, and the PDNs.

Well guys, I've decided to release the first portion of Sonic: Velocity to the masses. :D
This demo features the entire first chapter of the game, including all cutscenes (with voice acting), levels and the first boss battle.

Not to mention the realtime opening sequence. ;)

Naturally the game is not finished just yet, and a number of bugs may be present as a result.
Regardless, please download, give it a shot, and I hope you enjoy the story so far~! :)

Well, you did say you were going to voice Knuckles when he showed up in the story, right? Not to mention the previous beta testing, too. :3 xD

Sounds cool, I'll have to take a peek at it soon enough. :D

Crimson..

The beginning with the movie and the song and the menu and the first cutscene.. After all that I was like:  then I blinked several times and was like:  again.
So, in other words, MAGICAL! You have improved very much since Empire of Nightmares (which, in my personal opinion, was already one of the best GE games ever)!
The voice actings in the cutscenes really add very much feel to them. And your graphics are amazing, the main menu is brilliant!

Very, VERY good job on this! I will make sure to give you a +1 after writing this. =)

So, as you may have already understood, I like the demo very much!
I played the first act and tried the second one many times (hate those spikes xD in a good way of course ;D) but thought to write this feedback now and try it again tomorrow, because it's quite late here.
The game engine is also much better than in Empire of Nightmares, you have done good job and I couldn't find any bugs in Sonic's movement. (Only one thing I don't like, but I'll get back to that.)

You have made this game with a very professional style and I'm sure that it will attract some attention also outside the Game Editor forum, is you just find a good way to promote it.
Yes, I HAD TO underline that.

Well, on to the less nice part of this post! (Which still is not too much less nice  )
The movement has one thing I don't like and it is that when you have been running to one direction, turning to the opposite one appears to happen quite slowly.
Of course, it might be that you just follow how the original Sonic games work, and I just don't realize that because I've never played them..
Personally I'd make Sonic accelerate and decelerate little faster.

But, well, that's pretty much all of the negative things I could say about this game. (Besides a possible bug/weird thing in jumping, but I'm not sure about that yet, so I don't say anything about it.)

So, Crimson, I want to congratulate you for making this awesome game! I'm waiting for the full game for playing it and getting to praise it

Sorry if this text was difficult to understand, it's very late here and I might be a little sleepy.
Thanks for the amazing demo-playing experience!
