What's anbout a new banner for this forum?

The title looks "kewl"! lol

My critic though, is that the colors and the styles don't match between the icon and the title itself.
How about a font that is closer to Times Roman, but still not really similar, cause that's too serious. (lol) About the color: how about making it yellowish? I made a sample of that.


What do you think?

And which text should be close to Times New Roman? The big one, the smaller one or both? (in the image I now used TNR, will look for a close one).

DejaVu Serif Condensed seems the best to me.
Well I'm not an expert at this, and ultimately it's mak that desides...
The problem with this whole situation is, that if we choose these colors, then we'd need to change all the other colors that the forum is made of, so I'm not really sure after thinking about it like that... I'd ask makslane about the issue...

I could try to make a new style for this forum (or at least other colors).

White and Yellow is not comfortable...
The text harder to read...I like the blue text, but it's not comfortable with GE icon..

I think both your banners are pretty good. But they kinda don't fit the GE home page. Remember? It's orange and silver (or something along the lines of that).

Well all I'd say about it, is that maybe that light effect on the Game Editor title is very strong, and creates a great contrast within the letters, and is a little too close to the color of the background, which makes it a bit harder to read.
Else it's ok with me...

forget it i requested makslane alot of times about Forum LOGO but he dont want to put another logo

we're not talking about a logo, spidy. we'll keep the logo, of course.
we're talking about a new forum banner. you know like the one at the GE homepage.
