Hi everyone - first of all congratulations on a great product. As someone who hasn't programmed since the early '80's BASIC, I'm pleased to be able to make progress with GE. I'm currently putting together a game fro PC and Pocket PC called Inca (see http://uk.geocities.com/kevwalker23@btopenworld.com/ for screenshots/background info). All is well, and the game runs fine on the PC platform. The issue I have is with sound and music on the Pocket PC platform. I'm using .wav files, which are fine running on the PC, but very poor quality on the Pocket PC (some are just static hisses). Does anyone have any ideas as to best formats for sound for pocket PC use, bearing in mind the limited memory size on most PPC's (for info, mine's an XDAII with IntelPXA 400Mhz and 128Mb memory) ?
Thanks for any help, and for a great product and informative forum! :D

In the next version the GE will play mp3 musics in Pocket PC.
I think is a good format to play musics.

About static hisses, can you send me an exported game? (makslane@game-editor.com)

About static hisses, I have put you PocketPC game demo in a 200MHz ipaq and the sound is good.

But I can hear something like hisses in the PC.
You can try make some changes your rain samples (equalization...)
