If I see well, you have two Activation Regions. So, how do they exactly work? All actor inside Activation Region and outside View will be destroyed, and created when they come into the View, am I right? And you need it so there are not too much "live" Actors, which will burden CPU? Did I guess right?

Okay I have resumed work on the game, though I will recode the game and I've got a sureal land sea hybrid setting in the works, I'm also going to experiment with different attack mechanics. Although it may be a different game it will be a better game one that does weird better and I will have better mechanics and less bugs...

I bet you folks are dying to see a glimpse of the new graphical style so I'll leave you with this prototype.

It's not quite done yet, I was on a Mac so I use a simple raster graphics program called "paintbrush" (though pyxel edit is probably better) you could do a lot of this with just Windows Paint (accept for all that transparency stuff and colors are less precise) When my Windows machine was still functional I found Paint.net really nice.
As for how I did it? I don't know, patience?

In my observation I find it beautiful, the effects, the movements, the sounds and the characters. And I really like everything, because of this I would like to congratulate to the one created this gameplay. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Yeah I made this game... And if it weren't for Zivouhr I probably would have dropped this project...
Hey it's not every day we just get a new member that congratulate me off the bat...

Thanks Turon. How is the game developing with the new, cool art style?
I learned a few things about hit collisions and an enemy attacked by the player thanks to reviewing your game. Thanks.
Looking forward to seeing more of Octopus the Game. 8)

Nice art work in that link, Turon. How many levels might the Octopus game have as it progresses in development?
Any challenges with the coding that is affecting progress? I know when I hit a roadblock and can't solve it any time soon, I either create a work around method to get a similar result, even if it takes more work, or try a different approach while still thinking of ways to solve the coding problem.

The Main problem I have at the moment is that my current gameplay design has some complex physics. And my character has quite a few different animations that all have to display at the right moment
(far cry from a older game of mine "Super Ostrich" I recommend it to anyone that wants to laugh  ).
Also a real programmer has insisted on helping me & has completely altered my code so I'll have to learn how it works!
