Good question... I really don't feel that I need it. (probably because I haven't worked on big projects)
On Windows I use Code::Blocks which is more than enough for me, and on Linux Vim/gcc/g++.
Visual Studio didn't run on my last laptop (space problems), so that may be a reason too.
