Snake, a basic "collect the goodies" game. Seperate zip file for Ged and

Stand Alone. Let me know what you think of it.

You got it right!
The game feels nice and the game concept is alluring. A nice twist to the original old snake game.
I think that this almost looks like a real world game.

There are just some minor problems with it.
For example:
1. The graphics could be done better,
2. A nice custom BGM and SFX can be added
3. The snake can be coded so that it does not leave the inner area.
4. Difficulties, different foods, mazes.

And the last, but definitely not least - you should always put the full screen mode version separate as an option and use the windowed mode one by default.
There are many reasons as to why someone would want to play in windowed mode instead, but also it appears to be causing problems with the program manager on windows7.

What game of yours are you recommending me to try next?

The main reason I make games is to improve my programming skills. I always add the GED files of my games, so if you want a to change it to a window version you can do it yourself. I always prefer full screen by the way.

I myself liked Air Traffic Control and Space Invader.
Yahtzee is also nice to play.

Right, but I'm answering from a consumer standpoint, if you like to improve product quality beside your programming skills.
You are welcome to ignore this recommendation otherwise.

I personally don't like opening gE and doing extra steps before playing or testing out something.
It is fine that you prefer it full screen, but one of the most common principles in the public software industry is to leave a lot of options for the frontend.
This is why, in Game-Editor that is being worked on, people will be able to extend with runtime plug-ins written in C, modify the theme through CSS, access Game Options and extended Preferences menus, go into debug mode and change internal settings through engine_settings.ini.

No offence, but are you just playing games or do you also program in GE?

I do both.
I program in gE, I also program gE.
And lately, it happens so that I also have to play games.
Part of the job, if you will.

Do you have any GE programs that I can download here?
What doea programming GE means? are you improving the program it self? If so is there an update available?
Part of the job? are you a professional programmer? For GE or other platforms?

You can see that I am a member since 2008.
I'm re-writing gE from scratch, using the best, most powerful frameworks available up to 2022.
Discussion occurs in the discord channel. The development thread here receives no viable feedback.
