Game Editor?

I voted 'no' because I'm waiting the new c++ functions and UI more than new export types which take much developement time.
By the way Makslane, this may be very stupid question but will you keep the name "game-editor"? I don't want to offend, tease or anything but when people ask me "Tekdino, what you use to code your games?" and I answer "game-editor" they just loose interest and think that it's some kind of easy and non-flexible amateur software. And I don't like it because GE is very professional and can does almost everything!

So what name???
Your friends feel that because they don't know how powerful GE is...!!! :x :D
Because they never saw the coolest games which made with GE...

Yeah, but the name 'Game Editor' sounds little, well amateur  . Like trying to collect google hits.
I don't know what the new name would be but it would surely become fast known. Also now when Makslane is ennobling c and soon c++ code GE will have it's own programming language. Which is still nameless. I call it GEysir, but I'm the only one.
Also people usually mix Game Editor and Game Maker together.
What do you think Makslane?

Game Editor, Game Maker, Games Factory... I think the most important is the feature set.

Yeah, but then the problems start! When I make for example a rpg game and tell to my friends that it's made with Game Editor, I always must also explain that it's not a "choose and click rpg builder".
Am I the only one with these feelings?

I don't know...
I don't care with my friend's feelings about GE, I said "Just shut up and see what I'll make with this software" and I'm sure if you can't do as well as me... :D

Of course I can do that but I prefer explaining that GE is a very good sotfware. Just today I was talking that I've made some simple games and my friend was like:
-with what you make them?
me: with game editor
-ahah, I tought you were coding them

But as I said it seems that I'm the only one who has collided with these problems.

Your'e not the only one Tekdino, Game Maker & Games Factory also convey an 'amature' image, they are targeted towards people that want the easiest route possible to making a game, GE is so much more than that but it's name is very similar so people asume it's very similar and that your game is worthless because its made by an amature/hobbyist tool (which is not how I see GE at all). Also, targeting those young hobbyists is targeting those very people that are least likely to have the cash to buy it :(
