I have bad news and bad news.
My old video card burned and caused hardware malfunction cause the new card couldn't run with the old driver (and driver replacement was impossible because the program crossing...how is it called?) I couldn't give any commands to my computer after lsass.exe so bios was the only thing I could access. I had to make format by first deleting the portion and then installing with service pack disc 1 so that it reinstalls everything. SP2 disc gave me weird error messages.
Now I've formatted and started slowly reinstall all the programs. That's why I haven't been on the forums, today I had firefox and gmail notifier so that I could check my email comfortably.

All my GE projects are lost! (lost) Not even canceled but lost.
That's right, all my big game projects (even my SINI project which I started last year) are gone. Yeah Bee-Ant, I lost my Lightdog. Yeah Spidy, I lost your Dux game.

OHNOES!!! Well, I guess I better post my problamos as well. Man, hate to hear that all of your games are deleted!

I have some probs as well...
I can use my computer only for making sprites and music and play srb2.
cuz the games I make with GE run sooooooo slow!
The computer gets slower by the minute, even srb2 starts to lag!

so I'll have to use my dad's computer, but it's occupied most of the time.
Conclusion: It will take me longer to finish my big games, but I'll try to post a demo or turtorial every once in a while.

Are you using xp or linux?

with xp set a second partition on your hard drive and transfer your "my documents" and other things there. Then if you have a fatal crash again, and need to reinstall, that will not be formatted.

With linux you also want a second partition and have your /home there. Works the same way.

Thanks Pete but I have a backup system. It's an external hard disc where I store my recordings and songs + my mediaplayer collection. I've got also couple of files (mostly txt) in the internet so that the ideas will not be lost.
But I never tought about backupping my actual GE files because I edited them little by little.
But since now I guess I will backup a GE project when it becomes big enough. I will restart my Lightdog project because I had its sprites + plot uploaded and planned in web.

Awww man, thats gotta be frustrating beyond belief. Well I hope you manage to get things back to the way they were on your computer.

I'm so sorry mikey...Oh yeah, why you didnt recover your lost files with some software such as...File Recovery, Data Recovery or something like that...I have that software installer anyway...
So...no reason for me to be sooo sad if my files are lost...
