Stopwatch/Clock

I saw the digital clock for downloa and I thought it would be perfect to show a concept me and my friend were devising.
We have created our own version of metric time.
10hrs on a clock face
100 minutes in an hour
100 seconds in a minute.
I have created a clock which runs normal time and our metric time side by side(the metric time is slightly too slow as I cant put in decimals for the timer)
Thing is, this was designed to be a 24/20 hr clock but it restarts at 00:00:00:00 every time and if I go to another window it pauses.
Is there a way to stop this pausing?
Is there a way for it to read the time from the computer clock for example so it will start on the right time?
