Wow! It seems awesome!
I try it soon when I have some time for it. :)

One thing that came to my mind while watching the video..
Make mario bounce back when he hits enemy. Like in original mario. :)

Are you going to add powerups? I haven't seen anyone on this board post a raccoon Mario. I believe Bee-ant had a rather simple powerup system in his Mario game. Although it did have a few minor glitches.

Meh, maybe since this is a template, it should be kept simple.

It's merely because I was dumber in coding back then :P

Not dumb. Everybody's learning.

There's one thing that I noticed. (You're probably already working on this, I thought I'd just point it out.) The goombas need to kind of squish after you step on them instead of just vanish into thin air.
Overall this is more advanced than anything I could make. But hey, I'm trying

By the way, what would happen if your 45 degree angle ramps were separate actors? That may eliminate the noise when you jump on them. Just a thought. :)

Can't wait to see this improve.

I'll add something to what jagmaster said.
Also if you jump to get coins from the blocks, they should move with the player.

Indeed, not dumb...
I said "dumber"... that means I have learned and now I'm smarter (at least smarter than I was before) :)

It's nice to see everyone working together.
Keep it up guys :D

All of the most important parts of marios movement and animation codes are in mario - draw actor - script editor. Look at it. :)

Sorry Hblade for answering to question pointed to you.. xD
