help with path finding (enimy ai )

im making a top down shoot em up. i need some help with making the enimys walk around walls to get to me. ive been told this is called path finding.
i read about it and know what it is. but i dont know how to get it to work. i need the enimys to walk around walls to get to me not try and walk into the wall

i think what your asking is the avoid function?
if so, you can use that in a moveto event
