That means the game-editor references only from helpfile, internal tutorial, tutorial from website, GE website and forum.
I will always come here later. Thank you very much.
The help references are pretty good...

I started writing a book a month ago on GE more as a way to learn GE than any other reason.
The book has progressed well; Since the new interface represents a radical departure from the current interface I do not have plans to release it until after I have a change to update it with the interface changes.

Why not just buy a C programming book?
This book is meant to document GE not C...

There are tons of good books and resources on C as well as lot of free information over the web. And to be honest I know C very well having programmed in it professionally for the last 25 years as well as taught several college courses in C/C++ for over 4 years now.
GE is a refreshing tool though because it provides very powerful conceps (Actors, events, animations, regions ect.) without having the scripting language get in the way of the development effort. C scripting is meant more to supplement the environment rather than replace it.
At least that is my 2cents.

If you have skills and time to write this book, I can give you all information about the new Interface. The main concepts are ready. The code demands more time to write and ensure the quality, but you can use the planning concepts to guide the book writing.
So, if you want, just tell me!

Woww... kellyrey, maybe you can continue to write that book with new interface said by makslane. I hope this will enhance the usage of GE as game development tool, such as teaching in schools, colleges, university etc. in the future....
is...

Is the book still in progress? I'd love to "playtest" it...
10 years ago I learned a language called Euphoria for the PC that among other things had powerful multidimentional sequence operations that made it perfect for manipulating image data. I wrote a whole slew (6) arcade games in it, and documented one of my games from design through game engine development and line by line code exposition. At the time it was the only book written on the language. It may still be! lol.
Now I'm interested in using GE to recreate those old games for my new gp2x (ok, th eone that replaces my new gp2x...this one has a bad SD slot grrr.)
I'd really like to see a methodical treatment on creating a game from start to finish. I was actually thinking about doing a similar book assuming I ever get that far.
