Do you like my game idea

So, recently I thought of an idea for an online game, and its code name is Project Warrior. It was inspired actually by me playing tourney mode on Smash Bros Brawl. Unlike my other idea for an online game, Project Nightmare, a game made for people's enjoyment, this one is purely based on me getting money, so I can make the next game that will even get more money off of it. So this game is meant to be for computer, with a campaign, time trial, and online mode. The thing is you have to pay to pay online. If you take the one month license it is five dollars, six month plan is twenty-five dollars, and the year plan is fourty dollars. I will fill you in, so you get whole idea.

CAMPAIGN- the story line is you pick from the planets of Earth, if you pick Earth you are automatically a US fighter, Squirm World, if you pick Squirm World you automatically a fighter from the country of Sabol, Ork World, if you pick Ork World you are automatically a fighter from the country of Caza, and Pluto, if you pick Pluto you are automatically a fighter from the country of Iceberg, but more worlds could be added. The storyline is simple, you fight through tournaments, and become the world champion and then fight the other world champions of the other worlds in the Champion of Champions tournaments. Once won you fight the Universal All-time Champion , and he is last boss. During the game a man tries to stop you from becoming the Champion of Champions.

TIME TRIAL- A mode like zombies where you see how long you can stay alive in a colliseum from packs of monsters.

Will tell about online features tomorrow, but I am about to sleep.

Please comment.

maybe you have good ideas for online play but from what youve given i dont think youd make much off that idea.
problem is there is no online incentive why would i pay 5 dollars for one month? itd have to be a seriously fun game. 20 dollars for 6 months is only a little better and the game would have to have serious replay incentive. the game cur sounds like you just fight like in smash but you have to pay. there is no from what you said incentive to continue to play the game like leveling. it sounds like campaign is not an online thing and the only online part is fighting others which i wouldnt pay much for. things like wow allow you to interact extensively with the online world try to incorporate that. one reason online games can mkae people pay subscritpion fees is that they use the player to create a dynamic world always changing some the game is always new well that is the goal.

Sorry I couldn't finish saying idea. I almost fell asleep while making message, so now I will finish idea. The only inspiration from Smash Bros Brawl was its tourney mode, but the way you fight wont be like that. It will be more like an Legend of Zelda/Mortal Kombat Armagedan mix

ONLINE- Really you go through the worlds, do PvP, find a lot of stuff that will be good to have, and fight monsters and it is never ending. When you fight monters it is with a LoZ style. When you fight one on one PvP, or againts some bosses it is Mortal Kombat Armagedan style.
Also when you do Player team vs Player team it is LoZ style. In the game one every three months a hidden land in a world or occasionally a whole world itself is released, so the players have more to explore, but you can still only create a character in the first worlds that were already there at the beginning. Once a month a tournament will be held and the winner gets a month free. The registration fee is one dollar. Once a year the Champion of Champions tournament is held and only the best can enter. We pick by PvP records. You at least have to have one thousand wins and then we pick from best win to defeat ratios. No registration fee is required to enter. The Champion of Champions tournament is set up like the Campaign and since it is modern time gun fights will happen. The rules in a fight could be guns only, swords and axes only, body brawl only, swords, axes, and guns only, projectiles only, swords, axes, body brawl only, and alot more to name off. The Champion of Champions of that year gets one free year, and if they beat the All-time Universal Champion they will get ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. The tournaments will almost always use Mortal Kombat Armagedan style unless more than two people are fighting at once. There is a catalog where you can buy exclusive content. Also like Everquest you can join a group or make your own pack or join a pack for raiding parties or to complete those quest storylines that take hours to complete.

I always hoped to own my own videogame company and I will probably do it as an adult. I could make a GE version, but it would have to be a lot of people working with me(once I learn GE). Since this is a game developing community I assumed posting video game related things, unless competition of GE, would be okay to do.

Its great you have big dreams , as long as you know steps involved. Setting up a video game company takes alot of work and you have to know how to program. Most important learn how to work in a group setting with other people and learn to trust them. Also you have to have an eye for quality control , make sure every product you release for sale is good.

I am all for big dream's but 1st learning to code is the basic's. As long as you dont rush learning , progress will be steady. I tend to rush alot by nature , so I had to slow down in order for me to learn. You open alot of topic's that dont pertain to game editor development or you developing games. I would like to see more of those.
