320x240 or 640x480?

Hey guys, for the new game I'm going to be making, Roll, what would you rather the resolution be? 640x480 or 320x240? Or maybe both?



Roll is a sidescroller RPG game that takes place in a world that started as a peacefull planet, but was ruined by an evil mist that slowly is flowing all accross the world, and eventually the world will be swallowed up by it. If you absorb too much of this dark mist, you will become a monster and it's game over. So if you aproach an area with this mist, escape unless you have the special mask. This mask lets you breath in this evil mist to avoid being changed into a monster. But be warned, the monsters in this mist are much more powerfull then normal.

The mist was created by a group called the Nova Group. The Nova group has outstanding power, and you wouldn't stand a chance unless you max your character out. After you beat them, you unlock new game plus, which un-limits the characters level. But, after you break the limit of the character, the enemies can also level up. So eventually, the enemies from the first level could be as powerfull as the Nova Group.

I would use 320x240 for performance.
But if you want a little bigger, 480x360 is good.
I think 480x360 is the max resolution for performance.
