White View Region

Why in some of the demos do I see the white square that is the view and in others I don't? It's still there as an actor but I don't see it visually as a white square. I don't see that it's hidden.

In my graphic type demos, my view rectangle is covered by a canvas "light blue rectangle" actor. Anytime something is parented to the view, it is automatically drawn on top of it if coincident. Hope that explains what you were wondering about.

So the white square disappears? That answers my question. Thanks. : )

Still not sure about this. In some of the demos like Shark, there's no parent of the view that I can find --- but some of the graphics overlay the white view region so you can't see it. So it's there but hidden behind graphics.

if the zdepth is greater then the view, it will overlay it.
