Can this work for gp2x wiz?

I want to purchase game-editor for the sole purpose of developing games for gp2x. However they are releasing gp2x wiz and they released it. I want to purchase gp2x wiz only because it is more powerful and better than gp2x itself, but the question is...if I develop games for game-editor is the compiled game runnable on gp2x wiz or only gp2x? Are there intentions to make it compatible with gp2x wiz? Thanks in advance.
