Uh, I do have one off topic question... Which is why I didnt put this in support.

Linux is amazing when you have... the right stuff. But right now I need windows, my question is, does ANYONE know of a way I can download the drivers so that I wont install windows XP for nothing?

In other words, when I install Windows XP.. if I dont have my network drivers I'm screwed. This PC came with Windows Vista so I'm afraid that if I use a windows XP I wont have my sound driver, or anything like that...

If you know of a way, let me know. thanks.

Do you know what kind of board you have?

I have an NVidia Nforce that was designed for Vista, so to run xp i had to put in a soundcard and an ethernet card. However, Nvidia did update their drivers with an xp version, i still can't use the sound, but at least now the ethernet on the nforce board works on xp.

It all depends on what you have, i guess. On a side note, ubuntu uses all my devices with no problems at all. It uses the nforce hardware perfectly.
