Hi Admin,

Just wondering is there any chance to see this great project ported to maemo 5 (fremantle) ? It will be a great addition to maemo with such great games that game-editor can provide & the interested community could enrich game-editor games even more.

Check this out: http://maemo.org
In short maemo is an open source (linux) that is based on debian and n900 device is an ARM device.

I am not going to make this post too much long as I feel like you are already know about it (from reading few posts you looks like tech-guy & aware about latest stuff) :)

waiting to hear from you,
Donny

Yes, I think is possible.
Game Editor games runs on GP2X (linux + ARM), so the big work on the engine was done.

So can I say only a recompile is only the thing is needed (in exception of updating the GUI)? and will it be officially supported by game-editor?

here are few extra links (about porting to give you more clear idea):
http://maemo.org/maemo_release_document ... ode13.html -----(This one for maemo 4 and much more clear)
http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/Mae ... g_Software -----(This one for maemo5/Draft)

I hope you can take a look into them even if you aren't going to port it. You will notice porting applications overall to maemo is easier than iPhone.

Finally, Thanks for your fast respond :)
