What is the minimum to test iPhone-iTouch device.

I eard if you have a old iTouch it's good for testing cause if it work on that it will work on newer device.

Also iOS minimum target is now set to 3.0, as required by Apple.

So what is the best test device?

Also what is the minimum for a Mac, one that run snow, but. With the new OS comming will they keep snow for the new requirement or go with Lion?

if the min is 3.0 then youd want to use 3. seems weird that they require it to be no lower than 3. perhaps an evil plot to get me to buy a new one as if this is true they are pushing devs away from good ol 2.

the oldest iOS device can be updated to 3.* maybe that's why
