Hia gang, making a weird game right now. I was clicking a random video game name generator until I saw a game that sounded funny enough to make. Turns out that to make this game look good I need some houses for the background. It also turns out that I can't draw houses very well! Anyway, I'm happy enough with how the structure of the house looks, I just can't for the life of me put a roof on here that looks good. I already am very pleased with the character's sprite, as well as the tiles and misc. things. SOOooooo anyone who can help me with this is wanted! Even if it's just a tip or two (the palette I'm using is in the photo too, trying to stick with it for all sprites)

ahh, so you think if i put some chimneys on some and weather vanes and such it'll look good enough? I mean the focus of the game is definitely not the background, so if I can get away from it you think I'll be okay with not perfect looking? (graphics aren't exactly my shinning side)

EDIT: Oh and bushes and such will be there too, just was getting the mainness (not a word ) done.

Here you go. I improved the house a bit by adding a roof (notice that I also added one for the garage), chimney, window, and more shading

Postal is one of the words though, I'll give you that. The other two words start with the same letter of the alphabet (but not p)

I really liked the window actually but I'm still going with all everything done by me, though So I went with a really easily done roof style hahah here's an update on what it looks like too. Is the outline for the mailbox in the hud good enough? I wanted it to be dashed but then it loses it's shape... ahh well it's still early for this game (3 days of working on it for barely anytime) and it already is a lot better than what I imagined in my head!

Okay, beta it is sometime soon. As for random game names, my next choice was waffle stunts. Sounds pretty epic if you ask me.
