Oh wait, speaking of the large download, why not offer an alternative to people with bad internet on a mediafire folder or another place?
You could segment a zip file into 10MB chunks that should be easy to download in pieces

I'll be trying it out sometime tonight, downloaded it but haven't had any time to play it, haha

Good suggestion for dial up users: Only thing is, I'm not sure how I could split the file up into different segments since it's a single file.
For the time being, the small but fun Tomb of Twelve demo version is available through indiedb as well as gamejolt.
Thanks!

Hi. I haven't read this fully but it might help you with your file size problem.

Here is the link

Thanks KnuckleCrunchGames for the info. I'll take a look based on my system.

Yeah, WinRar was what I was thinking, almost everyone on the internet has it nowadays so I forgot to mention it, haha
But yeah, you can tell it to split your single file into pieces that can be easily stitched back together once they download all the parts

Also, very nice game by the way!
The only thing that bothers me is the lack of jump animation where your not moving left or right, it feels like it would look smoother if you stayed in the left or right aerial animations.
Love the exploration and the puzzles.

Thanks Speckford! Were you able to play the demo version?
Yes, as a beginner programmer, getting all the animations to work at certain times was a lot trickier than first imagined. I'm still trying to understand the State code. I had a version of it going, but once I got it working for one thing, something else was affected and then that didn't work as it should (the ladder climbing got weird I remember after adjusting the jumping animation with Switch State coding), so I had to remove that code and just go with what worked best at the time with the basic key down coding. Eventually I'll figure it out when I have more time.

I don't know what one is the demo version, but I did play the game, haha
and perhaps you could put in a code that keeps you in the aerial animation when your not in the climbing animation?

like, when the variable that decides if you can jump says no and your not climbing, stay in the aerial pose
I don't know how you wrote your codes, so I don't know how to help on that one, haha

Very abstractive code reasoning, Spec. High Level Programming Languages are indeed your area of expertise.

I know right, it's hard to hide how awesome I am.
I have to dial it back or else I'll cause heads to explode.
