I need to export my game for my Extended Project which is due in about a week but it wont let me!
I press File->Export->(choose place to export it, choose name)->Export. then it comes up saying that game editor has stopped working and closes down.
I was using an older version so I thought maybe thats it, so I downloaded the newest version and it still wont let me export!!!
Its a fairly large game and it seems to lag quite a bit.
I've had another problem with this game and a few before this one where when i go to game mode or come out of game mode the screen goes black, so you got to move the screen to get rid of it. Not the biggest problem in the world but just wondering if anyone else has that problem too?

What do you mean by "type"?
All it is, is a guy running away from lava, shooting enemies, avoiding obstacles and beating a boss right at the end.
Theres a lot of scoring... total score, number of certain enemies killed, number of points got from killing that many of that enemy, number of gems collected, number of bullets fired etc.
I've tried to keep the majority of proramming in Scripts cuz it usually makes it run a lil faster.

Oh yeah and it's taken me pretty much 2 days non-stop to program. Still not fnished tho, got to make the user interface yet, but I just want to catch all these problems as they come

Ok now for the enemies do you have them randomly spawning or placed them throughtout stage?

For the bullets are they being destroyed when they leave the field of view?

Also is the game split up into activations regions ?

Reason Iam asking these questions is to pin-point your problem.

Yeah the enemies are placed in set positions and ive made sure that even if you miss and don't kill the enemy, it killed by the lava chasing you.
With the bullets, i set them to be destroyed when they go out of vision

Ok you siad the enemies are in set position , you made sure that they dont recieve events when thier out of vision right. Also I cant see the game to see how large it is , but you might need activation regions. I personally spawn enemies instead of placing them because thier constantly in use even when not in vision. Ok can you go to chatroom , I will be there and we fix the game now. Chat is located on the right side of your screen just click on it.

Although it turned out to be as simple as using a different computer, I still want to say thank you for all your time and effort!
Without you I would never have found out about regions!
