Is it better to have a background or is it better to have no background? :? :arrow: :? (in micrsoft paint :D )

What do you mean by that? Are you asking if it's better to have an opaque background versus a transperant? If so, I'd use opaque :)

no like a white background or a colored background the white is already the background on paint :D

A colored background(say, pink) versus a trnsparent or a default (white) background i could show you what i mean here...(hastily whipped up :wink: )

That doesn't matter, MS Paint on Win7 can only save 32-bit PNGs, which requires an alpha channel for the background to go transparent.

If you don't want Paint.NET because your computer is crap, you [suggestion]could always get ubuntu, open the software center, search kpaint and install it. K(olour)Paint is like MS Paint, but with transparency[/suggestion]

well... we are actually kind of taking care of the computer i work on... it's not mine and even when we have to give it back i will have to remove game editor :( sooo it's not my decision... if MY own laptop was working right now (it already has ubuntu) then i could do it easily. EDIT although when we get our home computer up and running again(it has major viruses we have to clear it out) i could most likely do that. :D
