Suggestion For New Game

Have u considered making a strategy game, turn based style, like pen and paper. Its a great kinda strategy game, and i think should be relatively easy to make and create.
I used to invent my own pen and paper game back in highschool, and my entire schoolmates loved playing it, some even making reservations with me for a place during game time. It would be sorta like a chess strategy game.
Basically the game would have three game screens. The world screen, where each faction would have their territories like Rome Total War.
eg. A simple basic coloured region map, each colour representing factions, sticking true to the "pen and paper" style, colour and graphics remain basic
The Upgrade screen, to purchase new buildings in your territory, buy new soldiers, research weapons and armour and strategies.
eg. A create unit menu (u can create a unit, equip, and pay to be used in the battlefield)
Unit Name:
Weapon: Sword / Spear / Bow and Arrow
Training :
Tight formation = -2 defense from range attacks. + 1 to attack from the front. Uses hoplite formation if equiped with spears. -1 defense to melee from sides
Open formation = + 1 defense to range attacks. - 3 defense when charged
Armour:
Full plate: + 1 defense to all attacks, -2 defense to magic, movement = 1 hex
Leather: - 1 defense to ranged, movement = 1 hex
Unarmoured: -2 defense to all attacks, movement = 2 hex
something like this, i have many more ideas in my head
During combat, there will a battlefield with squares, There would be elements like, height, forests, and such, which would affect archer's ability to shoot further and hide troops for example. also, the army would be big, maybe perhaps up to 16 units per side. The battle would not be attrition cuz strategies matter, like, attack from the side to get an advantage, flank the enemy. Deal massive casualties to a unit in one round and watch them break and flee the battlefield. So placement of units, selection, all play an important role.
there would also be totally random events, like perhaps new factions emerging and attacking from outside the map. or a rebellion in your territory, where if you lose the battle to the rebels, the rebels form a new faction.
It would all be turn based.
1. You move your units, and select actions.
2. AI does the same.
3. Damage is assigned based on dice roll (random) with appropriate modifiers
Its all very vague i know. But if you are interested, i can come out with a complete concept and set of rules for this game. i unfortunately have zero development skills, but since i was young i have a very good knack for creating addictive strategy "pen and paper" games.
Also to encourage development and mods, people could perhaps make a mod of the units, new scenarios etc.
Do tell me if you're interested. i know i am, since there is really no such game like this for the windows mobile.
I can come out with a complete game if you wish, and maybe we can work together on this. I may have zero development skills, but my brain is full of concepts and ideas.
