this game is really going to take a while without other programmers.

I'm not that surprised. You are asking for people to do the coding for you. The other one was more of a contribution, aimed at the forums in general. And the things you are asking for are not easy by any stretch. I would say only a few users here could create a system like smash's ai, and it would take a long time to do so, even if you/they accepted the idea of making a lesser system. We all have our own lives and projects going on, and to commit to doing as you ask would require a lot of time. That thread also has very little actual help. Most of it was graphical contributions. No one there said they would build the ai system. And on another note, you are building a rip of a game, while that project was to build a gE central fighting game, that was like smash.

yeah your right its just a huge project but i am definitely determined to finish it.

I just update the source and executable files:

Source:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8500676/iSSB%20Source.zip

Executable:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8500676/iSSB%20executable.zip

Also, i want to change the d-pad into somewhat of a joystick that you can drag to move your character. the only problem is that you cant hit A or B or anything else at the same time because the d-pad will move between where your fingers are.
I guess there is no multitouch support yet? is there a way to get around this? and is it going to be added in the 1.5 version of geapp?

I want to make you a map :) I'll use Blender 3D and if you want I can angle it from left to right, and you could possibly add some sort of effect to make it look as if its really 3D.

here's an example.

Note that I can animate this if you want :D

Just the rock:

Just the grass

And I could get just the log step thingies too if you want :3

this is a stage that is about average stage size, but i am going to add panning for larger stages such as hyrule temple. once ge 1.5 comes out i will probably use view scale to some extent

Im gonna do the ones from the old games first and then new ones once i add a good number in. I have a folder filled with a huge amount of character and stage sprite sheets, but i need to organize them into the filmstrip sprites that Ge uses

And yes panoramic backgrounds would be awesome just make an animated gif and a big png version

I'll make a 720P version to match up with the already made field I have.

best part: It blends smoothly with the sky you have set. Oh, and it looks nice too :D Realistic grass. Possibly close to.. well whats 8000 times 150? thats how many grass/hair particles were here xD Takes a while to render lol o-o

(Couldn't use GE for some reason to upload it)
