I think bee-ant uses the free midi software anvil studio.
I've never tried it yet. But I've heard nice stuff about it.

@ Kalladolf

Sorry to bump an old post, but may I use your Metal_Boss song in my game? I will be sure to credit you and get you a copy when I'm done with it.

Sorry, but this music is already used in my Sickmam Blast game for which it was designed.
But I can make you another boss music if you like. Just tell me what it should sound like.

Sonthing like Metal Boss, but maybe a little more upbeat. The game is a space shooter, if that helps any. I don't know if you want to help or not, but I also need several songs for different levels. I eventually plan on selling the game online, but my biggest obstacle right now is not having any music I can use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

pyrometal wrote:I use MPT (ModPlug Tracker). My biggest problem was the limited instrument choice, which had basically no electronic noise. But I just figured out how to create new instruments from .wav files moments ago and I'm really happy about that! Now I am no longer limited! I do not own a music keyboard, not that I know how to use own either, lol. Thanks for the info!

Whatever you want to do is fine. I'm working on a credits song right now, but I don't have as much free time as I wish i did.

I just realized that I got this metal boss music mixed up with another boss music I made for my game.
This music is yet free and you use it in your project.

Do you need any help in converting this file to .ogg and removing the copyright info at the beginning?

I can convert it to ogg by myself--what do you mean copyright information though?

Oh just the vocoded voice at the beginning, saying "TecWeed productions". That's just another one of my names incase you're wondering.

oh...well, I own FL 7 so I probably could do it, but I don't know how. I actually thought that was part of the song. if you want to pm it to me without it that would be fine. I still have a lot of little things to do to it before it is finished, but anytime you want I can PM you a demo.

Yes, I'd like a beta version very much, thank you.
Oh, and a looped version of the music would probably nicer, but you can do whatever you want with it.
Just give credit ;)
