I'm confused! How to compile?

How do you compile the source code? I try to follow the steps in the .txt but some steps I can't perform and I can't compile anything in Visual Studio 2008?

You can compile in the VC2008, without problems.
What are the errors?

well now I get it to compile 13 succeed and 6 failed. I check in the output folder there is no exe anywhere to be found S:
if it helps most of the errors seems to be because of there is no dsound.h, dxguid.lib, lib/vc_lib/msw/wx/setup.h, \Release
defplugin.sbr and \output\Windows\wxGameEditor\ReleaseMSW\DlgSaveLayout.sbr

If you have this files on your system, go to Tools/Options/Projects and Solutions/VC++ Directories, and include the path.
If not, get and install the directx sdk.
