attacking demo

Here is my attacking demo for my game.
Keys:
Arrows - Move
R Shift - Attack
/ - Arm/Disarm Rifle(currently only the LEFT animation is implemented and it does not create a sound or bullet yet)
Problems I need your help with.
1)I need to get rid of strafing. My moonwalking problem has evolved into attack strafing. Fixing this will fix the rest of the issues below.
2)Sometimes the walking animation will continue playing after attacking.
3)In Rifle mode, the gun appears to grow out of player.(related to walking animation).
In the future he is going to wield melee weapons, his rifle, and some throwing daggers. Please do not mind my underscaled background.
Any suggestions on the strafing is much appreciated. Also nooblins, feel free to use my code, although as said above it is buggy.
