Hi :D

I want to buy myself new notebook. What kind of videocard is better to use with GE 1.5 ? Are there any requirements?

Game Editor doesn't use the video card at all. So you could get one of the cheapest out there and games would still run the same. It's the processor you're after. GE relies solely on the processor.

i noticed that. I have a really old computer running windows 2000 and a really old amd athalon processor, and the game still ran just fine.

unfortunately, if you are using a canvas for a 3d game, i dont think it will work as well because of the lack of video card use

That's why game editor is a 2D game engine, not a 3D one. The reason for this is because to allow it's portability to a lot of consoles.

Yeah that's great and all, but like fojam said, doing advanced stuff with the canvas really slows everything down :|

If you want my opinion, I believe GE should make full use of Open GL when it can, but that's harder to code since you'd have to change a lot of stuff.
And I do know that canvas slows things down... You should know I abuse them the most :P (Well maybe not, but I'd like to believe so!)

Every day, thousands of innocent canvas's are abused and killed by the infamous murderer, Game_a_Gogo. If you have seen this man or have information regarding his whereabouts, please contact your local police station or call 1-888-897-help. Be warned this man is armed with guns and wicked awsome programming skills. Call today and stop canvas abuse before it's to late

Offtopic: The score system was implanted for giving value towards users who are helpful, not really for making funny statement :S
