I have finally found a way to change your resolution during gameplay!

for this to work best, double click on the EXE titled "yup"

please avoid the larger resolutions if your monitor is not made for them or capable... i have not set a "reset after 15 sec" thing. once changed, ittl be that way till you specify otherwise... if you push your monitor above its limits, press Ctrl + Alt + Del... and end the running exe. this will close the game and should put your monior back how it was. i am lot liable for any damage or iriversable effects done to any of your equipment. if you agree to the terms your may continue the download

i know it seems a little over the top to put all that, but im sure lots of people have small monitors... so yeah, enjoy!

I remember trying this once ^^ btw you can rename the ".exe" of the other yups to hid the fact that they're executables :3

I wouldn't like to complain, but...
This isn't very easy to use in game.
Because one should export many versions of game and with different resolutions
it would be nightmare, 'cause you should move some actors to different places for making
the game seem good. And that would be neverending job... You know what I mean..?

I do know what you mean and i thought of that even...(i didn't mention it cause it's bad ;) )
On top of that, for the game to appear right in really large resolutions you'd need to make different sizes of images for each "GAME"(resolution)

could this be used as a means of zooming out during gameplay- some actions like fighters moving further appart would then not be trapped within the view...oh wait your using the click on events to load the separate game files... which would mean you could at least do it by creating a copy of the original game, recording all the data over to it with the only higher resolusion view- both set to fullscreen, will enable you to pull the view back to suit the situation, like if you are fighting one on one, then pull back to fight huge boss monster.

the idea is nice but this system is not nearly fast enough to be playable, if the change was more instantaneous (at least for fast pace games) this would work.

I've never seen a game with zoom handle it via resolution change, it does it by scaling the graphics. The number of pixels on screen is the same, the characters just use fewer. What would be closer to the effect you want is a way to change the size of the View object live and NOT change the resolution, instead shrinking or growing the image on View to fit the resolution.
