Thats true Novice.

I'll leave my post here as it is. I speculate that there is a money transfer issue, or perhaps email issue between the vendor and the author. They have both been emailed from me now, I will wait and see what the result is.

As paypal does not insure software sales, I cannot request arbitration from them. my only effective means of applying pressure is public censure.

I have requested in email that they(either the vendor or the author) straighten out the issue, or that I be refunded.

That was at the 7 day point. I am now at 9 days and still awaiting either my software, or a refund, or even a return email from either party. I could have written my own particle generator in that time. In fact, I may do just that.

If I have not heard from them by monday night, I will explore those other forums and attempt to contact that way. I am more than willing to make an ass of myself to protect my community.

I finally recieved my copy of particle box several weeks ago. As I was building a new machine, I put off installing it. Today I tried.

Imediately upon trying to open the zip, I was informed that it was corrupt. I redownloaded the file and tried again. Corrupt. Again. Corrupt.

At this point it would no longer let me download from the site. The url directed me to a message "nothing here for you".

Particle box distributer, You suck.

Fishy on top of fishy, on top of fishy. lousy customer service on top of lousy customer serve, all for a non functional program.

Particle box creator, You suck.

Nobody buy from these people.

As soon as I can get a good functional graphics loader going in GE, I am making a particle creation kit.
