I like it! :D I think it'd be cool though to have a randomizer, where at one point its raining but if you restart it it could be sunny or cloudy or something =) Or day and night and if night then have candles along the tiles that'd be amazing :) Hard though I know lol

but awesome!! :D

Is that sally in the new screenshot? that would be so awesome to have a character from the archie sonic continuity in the game!

No dude, that's Tiara Boobowski - a character from the cancelled Sonic game "Sonic Xtreme" Common misconception though, so no worries. xD I think it'd be cool to have an archie-based Sonic game too - something that hasn't been done yet. :3

Mr. Hblade - look what yours truly just whipped up this morning - dynamic menu system with changing weather, changing backgrounds with parallax scrolling and changing ambient sound effects. ;)

Crimson your sonic games are always awesome. Do you think that you could do something with the archie sonic continuity for your next game? ive always wanted a game with that storyline because its just awesome

If I plan on making anything after Sonic: Velocity, that's most likely going to be my plan. =)

Crimson heres an idea :) Something different. Why not in the future make a "Sonic RPG" that takes place in the Sonic Satam story

That's a good idea, but unfortunately it would take away from the Sonic experience (if you know what I mean). I'd prefere another classic platformer :P

Apologies for the lack of recent updates here, I've been busy fixing up EON with Version 2.02 and of course, Sonic.EXE. Now that those are out of the way, however, my full attention is once again back on Sonic: Velocity!

Unfortunately, as I have fully voiced cutscenes, it can take quite some time for the actors to get around to recording the lines for cutscenes, which can hamper development time - but when you guys see the end result, it will have been worth it! :D

But for now, screenshots:

Guys, earlier this Wednesday, I recieved the results of my final exams (called the Leaving Cert) - 6 years of work in school reduced to one sheet of paper. What I got was...fair, to say the least. I didn't do just as good as I thought I would, but that said I didn't totally blow it either. I was happy - I had chosen various colleges around the country a few months ago, and would eventually recieve an offer of acceptance, depending on my results. Unfortunately, the primary course on my list was slipping out of my grasp, since the government stated that technology courses would increase in their requirements.

Now, today, Monday 20th August, the government released these offers online at 6 AM. The main course I wanted from the start was Software Design (Games Development).

I GOT IT! 8D I'm officially on the road to becoming a fully qualified Game Developer! :D

(Sorry, I'm ecstatic right now - needed somewhere to vent. xD)
