Multiple maps?

I'm assuming with Game-Editor you would need to create multiple .ged files in order to have more than one area but that raises so many questions, how do I keep my party members and battle system coding over 100+ levels and ged files? Can you create global actors and save them?

Or would it be more beneficial to use a external map editor like mappy or tile-studio?

Well first you can't use external map editors along with gameEditor, unless they produce a text file which you can then load, with a custom function. You can make many levels within one ged. If this is what you want, you might look up activation regions, and multiple levels. If you can't find anything conclulsive, I can point you in the right direction, or explain it myself. If you are using multiple ged files, then what you should do is save your first level. Now save as the next level, so they are now duplicates. Now edit the second one to make a new level. This requires save and loadVars. If you have the pro version than you can use dat, but I won't go into that unless you want me to.
