whenever i view my creations fullscreen, my monitor displays the message
'input signal out of range'
i got a new copmuter for xmas (:D woot woot) and it has a MUCH larger monitor than i had b4
(old comp: max resolution = 1024 x 768 new comp: max resolution = 2048 x 1546

). could this be what is causing the problem?
also, how can i fix it?!
very irritating trying to play with a message in the way that one cant move or quit.

Its because of your monitor, you need to set it to a lower refresh rate, but, whit large resolution, its hard to get down at 60hz and i have a hard time to go wider then 1600x1200, cuz my screen doesn't support more then 69hz, and the hz value are always different
even if you place like 50hz, the hz might be 62, so that causes a problem. try to set the screen resolution lower

kk will try,
also, another problem arises.
when i play as a window, if i move the window around, the gamepley is suspended, but the music just keeps playing! this is a real problem because some events are triggered to go off at timers that corespond with the music. this makes my game look pretty crappy. any suggestions on avoidance of this?

640 x 480
using the 'full screen' instead of 'window' option.
