Hi to you all,
I was wondering which king of games people here achieved to perform using the marvelous tool GE?
Asking to myself this issue, I would suggest we communicate to eachothers, explaining, for instance:
1. The name and type of the game we have developped until now
2. The number of months and of persons necessary to make it work
3. The commercial sites used to sell there game
4. The platform they used (PPC, WM, Linux or WinXP)
5. The price of the game
6. The date of disclosure
7. The number of downloads
This last point (n°7) is of great importance because it could help people using GE to establish predictions concerning there game.
8. Our future project
Why not sharing this experience here?
Best regards,
Regis

PS: concerning my own situation, my answers are:
1. "3D STAR RACER": a precalculated 3D space shooter with some "race against the clock" sequences. More infos are available at the following URL:
http://www.pocketgamer.org/showthread.p ... eadid=5130
2. As a hobby (part time), it took me nearly 2 years to do it, which may be translated to 4 to 6 months (full time). It is a 100% personal hobby (grafX, music, and coding), but I had great help from people here through the GE forums and from Makslane of course. Many thanks to you all.
3. I project to sell it on Clickgamer at first (they offer you 75% on the sales (instead of 65%) during the first 15 days if they have exclusivity). I think about Handango and Pocketgear, afterwards.
4. The game is designed for PPC and WM machines. It takes 70MB of free space on a mem card.
5. The price is an issue, but I am thinking about a price between 15-19$.
6. The date of disclosure: 1st May 2006 (may be a delay of a few days because of RPN registration issues).
7. The number of downloads: ?
8. Future project: to have a rest!
