Hi.

Im currently working on a game idea, for a 2d rpg multiplayer game. And I came across this great program. I would like to hear if there is any server function? If not can this be done, or is it something that would take to long to create. I have a programmer available. Is it to much for one person to do?

I have little programming experience that why I ask you.
Couldn’t find any other topic about this.

Has anyone heard of soldat(much the same as abuse in the way of moving). That would be so cool to make something similar when GE gets networking!

It's a site run to support ClickTeam and its products, ClickTeam is a rival company to Game Editor and produces Multimedia Fusion, The Games Factory as well as a number of other game development suits for various platforms (I used them for a while way back); its services (including the servers you linked to) are for use with ClickTeam products so you are in effect advertising for the competition :(

MFA files are MultiMedia Fusion files (sort of like the GED files in GE i think)..

The Moo servers seem to be intended for Clickteam products. I think your questions would be better posted on the Clickteam forums if you intend to spend a fortune (approx £229.00, thats $460.24) on Multimedia Fusion Developer so you can create royalty free games and use the moo api and servers (which probably cost a monthly fee as well).

You can read a bit about the MOO API (link below) but the people who created it dont seem to be about any more (Third Eye Entertainment / http://www.3ee.com/)

http://www.clickteam.com/CTforum/showfl ... 5&o=&part=

This isnt GE related, infact you guys are promoting another product here! I'd completely understand if Makslane deleted these posts! ;)

oh... well, even so, if someone could (hypethiticly) script a program that runs on a website so that, whenevr someone does something in the .exe version of a game it will save it to the website, and display it on someone else's pc. This is just one thought on it, i do not know how servers actually work.
