I'm on a vacation trip right now, but I'll get it done as soon as possible.

Okay, can't wait to see the video.

Guys, I have been slacking on my part recently. I want to start this back up. After reading an email mak sent me after I asked what happened on the 17th, GE was down, and finding out it was hacked, my admiration for mak went up. If he still plays his part, getting the forum back up quickly, I can do mine, and try to grow this forum. The GE3 page is still up, and lets get the games going again!

This is the first time I have seen this post but I also think this is a really cool idea, and would be willing to help if there is anything I can do to make it happen. Still working hard on both my tile editor and game, ran into a small snag recently regarding some zdepth issues but I think I can work it out soon, would be wiling to shoot some video of my tile editor, how it works, and how it will play its role in the development of my own large game project or could be used to create other games.

Also have a friend who is looking to make a game and will probably be helping him a lot with that starting soon as well. It is a retro inspired castle/ tower defense type game in which you assume the role of a planet's biological defense mechanisms, plants, trees, fungi, animals, (and perhaps even some mythical creatures such as fairies or elves) that are defending the planet against alien invaders. His project will probably come together much quicker than my own considering it is not quite as large and complex, it may even be entirely completed in a few months, though I don't have all the details on it so it is difficult to say.

With SABRE, my game/ tile editor, my friend's project, and a few other people's games, an event like this could be really good for GE.
