Shoot the target v1.2.1 (November Tourney Entry)

Well, shooting is a sport so that's why I made this game for NoH's November Tournament!
I'm not sure when I'll release this as it is still very very VERY buggy... But it's playable at least. Well, I've been busy, and this is what I could make in about 4 days of
development... (The game is uploaded as an attachment! Cheers!)

Here is a screenshot of the gameplay...
Image

I'm sorry if the game is buggy or it seems rushed (because it was...)
Controls:
Space to shoot
In menu: Shoot the play button to begin the game
In game: Hold space for autofire
Left click to select difficulty.

v1.2.1
*Bug fixes:
-Combo bar and player reset fixed after finishing a game.

v1.2:
*GED RELEASE so that others can try my game!!! ;)
*Added pause!
*Hi-Scores and Win/Game rates (Differ from each difficulty) added, for a little competition... :P
*Bug fix on blue being weaker than the others on all difficulties.
*Bug fix about the elimination system.
*Made hard's ai easier, but made hard's target movement a lot more erratic and faster in return... (I made it much more possible to beat hard though.)
*Added music!

v1.1:
*Fixed a bug where the target would move frantically around the screen...
*Made the game small enough to be uploaded as an attachment by deleting unused stuff.
*Added a random vanishing target variant.

v1.0: Rushed release (Still tons O bugs and ai still bad)

First, congratulations for producing a playable game in such a short time !
The screeny makes me curious for more, well done.

But tell me, how did you manage to get your screeny shown in the title, is it
less tham 100 kb small ?
And the new attachments are over 1 mb large, that makes me wonder, what is going on !

One negative point here, why don't you also provide a Linux version, or even better,
the games ged and data ?
Unfortunatly, I can't play Windows versions...

Cheers !

Nice work completing this game Jonathang.+1 8)
I'm a fan of archery, so definitely a cool sport to create a game of. For 4 days, great effort getting it playable.
The GED would be cool, agreed, as it would allow all PC, Mac and Linux fans to play it.

The screeny is shown in the title because I uploaded it as an attachment, and the game can be uploaded because the limit is actually 2 MB, not 100 KB... I don't know where you got the 100 KB limit from digi...

Right, thanks for the suggestion about placing a GED guys! I'll add the GED of this game, along with Martian Madness (In its own thread of course) because I was stupid enough to not thing about making a GED for people who can't play in window's .exe extension...

Seems, the Forum Software decides between pictures (100 kb) and other files (2 mb) !
jonathang wrote: I don't know where you got the 100 KB limit from digi...

By trying to attach the pic, I got this message :

The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 100 KiB.

Now, as quality-reduced jpg (99 kb), it is being accepted.
The former png has had ca. 500 kb.

Great, thanks !
+1
But if you don't want to show the ged, you could port to Linux at least.
I'm not sure, if you can port to Apple without Apple hardware.
Now I will try out the game !

Cheers !

Aaah I didn't know that, perhaps because I never reached 100kb for images.. xD

I guess it's more accessible if I upload the ged, so it's okay!
And leave feedback digi, and thanks for trying it out, I'm looking forward for your soccer game too! ;)

Thanks for offering the GED. It says I need the newest version of Game Editor to play, as I only have 1.4.0 and will have to wait for the update hopefully by this February 2016 from Skydereign, who mentioned he's trying to complete it in his spare time. I was able to see the graphics and hear the sound effects though. Looks and sounds good. :D

If there's time, feel free to post a video of the game play. Thanks. 8)

Ah yes I worked on it with game editor 1.4.1b, you should have game editor 1.4.1b which is downloaded here. I'm very sorry for all these problems for you to try my games Ziv.

P.S: I might post a video, but I'm quite busy these days. I hope I can squeeze some time for posting a video. ;)

Very sporty, your game !
I'm always the first one, who gets eliminated, even in the easy level !
Sometimes, I can't find my cross hairs, and my mouse needs an internal
cleaning.
The opponents are implemented very well, and the ged looks nice and clean.
Its obvious, that you have achieved great experience in Ge-ing !

Have a nice Christmas,

Cheers !

Haha, I guess I made my game a bit too hard... This happens a lot...
I'll make it easier in the future, but not now, I'm a bit busy. xP

Thanks for the feedback digi!!! I'm so happy that someone can play my game! Made my Christmas for me. :D
