Indeed. A forum is a public place and any opinions are welcome. Like any forum or blog, it is up to the administrator to remove non-related subject matter. Personally, I don't think there really is any problem. There are always some people on the net who post when they're angry. I've done it plenty of times.

But if anger is all that's there, and nothing is being said relevant to the forum, then the content should be removed, no different than if I tried to advertise my porn website on the forum.

Also, "ignorance is bliss" is a very old saying, one of those 'simple wisdom' sayings, like 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush'. Its been around for centuries. However that doesn't make it true. The individual decides whether or not it is true for him/her, and that decision is a reflection of that person's direction in life.

Does this even happen? I think I've seen two posts about GM vs. GE. Why be so offended anyway? Maybe I'm too old to care about those kinds of things anymore. I've been working with people who argue Linux vs. Microsoft, Java vs. C++, Ruby vs. Java, PHP vs. Perl, Stripes vs. Struts, MySql vs. PostgreSQL, Oracle vs. Sybase, Sybase vs. SQL Server, .NET vs. Java, Yahoo vs. Gmail, ... yawn. Chooce your own tool and be quiet about if your so worried about what other people think.

Out of curiosity, I looked through automail20s posts and didn't see anything interesting. Even if someone says they hate GE, who cares? Are you making good games or not? That is what matters. If someone writes all their best games with VBA in Excel, then great. My only question is, where can I download the game?

if u look at automail10's website, u'll see a link that says protest and it says some rediculous stuff about makslane. they are total lies and I feel sorry for makslane cause of it.

Oh, well. I still don't think the game community should polarize between GM and GE because of it. I like them both. Let me be the great uniter of the GM/GE. "Make games, not (tool) war." That's my new quote.

hm, I have bought GE's pro version for real money and I still don't regret it.
