Well Hares got to pick this tournament's theme, and he decided on "Knight of Honor." Don't ask me anything, just think what you think you need to make out of it. There isn't really much to say other than that, so onto the grading rubric

GRADING RUBRIC:
Theme- x/10- how well does it follow the theme of this tournament? If the theme total is less than an average of five points, you are disqualified.
Originality- x/10- Is this a new game, or is the same one that we always play and see?
Creativity- x/10- Do they use the elements in this game to enhance game-play?
Title- x/10- If you saw the title of this game, would it make you want to read the back?
effect of the quantity of sound- x/5- Do they fit in with the graphics, story, and overall, sound good?
effect of the quantity of music- x/5- Do they fit in with theme, story, action, and overall, make the tempo of the game?
graphics- x/10- Do they appeal to you, do they fit in with the theme, are they a good fit to the story?
game-play- x/15- Is this something with replay value, is it addicting, is it something that is was worth playing?
overall- x/20- How do you feel about this game as a whole?
Judge Total- x/95- The judge grading this must add up the above total to get one grand Judge Total.
Judge Bonus- x/10- Birthday Cake (Also chose by Hares) (The bonus must enhance the game, if you just put it in, but it adds no value to the overall feeling towards the game, then the bonus will not count).

The deadline for these games will be at 11:59:59 Central Time on June 24th, judge week will be from the 25th of June to the 1st of July, and then the winner will be announced on the 3rd of July, aka, my birthday (*cough cough* feel free to send me millions of dollars *cough cough*).

If you want to be a judge, say so on this topic, or pm me, or if you see me on chat, you can tell me on there. Judges, do not release scores at all and do not judge until judge week.

I challenge 4 people to enter this tournament, I CHALLENGE! As an incentive to enter this tournament, and this one will only be this one, I will send everyone who enters an advantage pass, that I announced months a go, can be used on regular monthly tournaments with sabotage instead of free points, as they would be used in the yearly tournament. So at the end of this month, every contestant gets 1 advantage pass, and the winner gets 2 passes!!!!!

Back on topic.

So the theme is a knight game huh. Lets see what I can do.

OFFTOPIC: That is awesome knuckle, cancer rules!... Oh wait, darn, why must I be cancer.

Well I hope you do participate knuckle, it would be nice to see what you can do with a game, since you usually spend a few days on one it seems, but this time you will spend 21 days, which I expect to be an awesome quality game if you work on it a lot.

Also in the next post, I will tell you guys, what I was going to keep a secret unless someone won a tournament, what an advantage pass actually can do.

This is to show you all the uses of a 2014 championship advantage pass-

Here is all the uses of the 2014 advantage pass (only 1 use per pass):

-Exempt yourself from a theme in the 2014 championship tournament, you will see what I mean when the time comes around.
-Give yourself a free max amount of points in one of the rubric's things, besides overall and game-play, so in things like theme, originality, you can use it to get the full 10 points. Keep in mind though, you want to use this on something you believe you will score lowly on.
-Give yourself an extra 3 days past the deadline to complete your game.
-Reduce the amount of points we gave someone in one field of the rubric, besides overall, by half, so if we gave someone 6 for game-play, they get a 3 instead, and if it is an odd number, we give them the benefit, so if they got 7 in game-play, it is a 4 instead.
-Make someone have to meet the deadline 3 days before the actual deadline.

Hares will notice a few differences from when I gave him the pass, but this is the newest rules for the uses. Now that you know, this should give you a spark to enter hopefully.

Anyway, I like the theme, it's kinda funny how the name rhymes with the previous one.
I think I'd like to realize my dream of making a simple point and click game and at the same time realize a dream I dream every month, the dream of entering one of these tournaments I can't promise I can get anything done, since I'm quite busy, and I maybe don't even know how busy I will actually be, but I'll give it a try, that's for sure.
