What I know is nothing more as it is written in the wiki already.
Is that true to you?

what does that mean?
You know I was wondering why we would recreate all the fine documentation on C functions and keywords.

The article isn't marked as spam anymore
Can you write something about the source code availability?
Can you replace the logo with this file?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Editor Right now it is almost complete, lacking only more inner links, and sceenshots, icons.

Should I improve the wiki? I ask as I don't want to waste my time and it seems that it has been abandoned. I don't mind helping but if it is not wanted, I won't bother.

Is the
wiki still active? I noticed that no one had used categories. I've found out how to use categories and I've already categorized some pages. Maybe you should take a look
here and categorize some more pages.

I haven't had time to work on the wiki do to school and college apps, but now I have plenty of time and will continue my work on the wiki. What do categories do, is used when searching or a special page shows you all categories, and you search from there? I guess I'll figure it out soon enough.

i would like there to be at step by step game making section also. I mention this before but got shot down. When i 1st purchased GE i learned and was motivated when i could write a complete game.If you you show bits and pieces , people who cant put it together will give up and not buy GE. I had this debate with skydereign but he said this really doesnt matter. I honestly believe if people can follow a step by step tutorial and when they finish they have made a complete game they would be motivated to buy GE. Thats my feeling anyone care to tell thier opinions on this subject.
note: i will add to my 1st tutorial later than i will add making pac-man tutorial .

A correction to krenisis' post. I am not against step by step tutorials, as they are very helpful. I don't know where he got the idea that I was against them. The gE book that is being written is pretty much a giant step by step tutorial teaching gameEditor. As long as the tutorials are good and help teach gameEditor, instead of simply listing what to do, than I am all for it. I have seen many of these tutorials that don't explain anything, which you can still learn from, but not nearly as much.

The step by step tutorials which i found maybe 5 or 6 even though I know there is more here that i havent found , lets people complete at least a 1st level demo or so of a game. The 1st tutorial that i did was trajectory labs which wasnt complete but let me do close to finished product. That kept me going i also did ari feldmans space invaders which i added score to it on my version. See being able to make a playable games is sometimes a bigger motivator than just describing bit by bit. Dont get me wrong i been going back and forth to the wiki now and you noticed that i havent been asking many questions because the wiki is very polished. The wiki does help alot but i feel there should be a forum section for step by step tutorials. That way newbies will be able to make short games and will buy GE rather than give up. I just want to boost the sales of GE to the point that makslane doesnt have to work a fulltime job and he can go back GE fulltime. I hope makslane considers the idea of a step by step tutorial section in the future.
