Technicaly WM6 has no difference with WM5. GE is compatible with WM5, so it should work too on WM6. At least I have Dell x51v that has been updated to WM6 and in both cases GE applications work similary.

Well, the terms of the Demo license are confusing. The web site says that the Demo license only exports to windows "Export games only for Windows." However, the demo version that I downloaded from tucows.com provides for export to Windows, Linux and The Pocket PC. So, the essential difference between the Demo and Full version is the global statement "GP2X and Windows Mobile-based Smartphones" I checked around and couldn't find any examples of games that work on the Windows Mobile 6 platform, so with the confusing terms and the lack of working examples, I am not convinced. Are there any forums or sites that have at least 1 example?

Hi Makslane,

Thank you for the sample application, however I now get "'checkers' is not a valid Windows CE application" with your sample checkers application. I do admit that my phone is new, but it is using "Windows Mobile 6 Standard CE OS 5.2.1620.

np, can we try this once more? The game said that it requires a 240x320 resolution, where my phone is actually 320x240.

Slaney, is it possible to take a photo of the BlackJack II screen with the sample playing that Masklane sent you?

The BlackJack II looks like it has a 240x320 screen but it seems that it's a 320x240 screen that's rotated? Or something like that. It's quite interesting.

*edit*

Have you tried other games on it? Like some demos from ClickGamer? For instance how does Syberia 2 play on the BlackJack II? I don't know if there's a demo.

Is a problem with the check of the screen orientation.
Please, test this file and tell me if works.

The "test_black_320x240" works great on the BlackJack II. Thank you Makslane for compiling this sample!!!
