when after leaving the forum for 8 months, but all through it you think of GE, and end up returning to post a small game eventually...

Ditto. I think I'm gonna be back for a while as well, hopefully trying to get into college won't cut into my GE time.

You're thinking about GE too much when...
You have to actually think for a while between making games on GE or preparing for college.

when you make a deadline for yourself to make a game.

when, in the real world, you refer to the third thing as 'number 2' because you're so used to starting with 0.....

You're thinking too much about GE when you are on the forums every day from 8:00 am to 10:00 PM (Did it this saturday)
or
when you make a GE forum that is all about posting like this
or
when you re-make the GE icon(packmancover.ico found in the system folder)
or
when you resume editing a game you started long ago using GE 1.3.6 and resume editing it with GE 1.3.9 or 1.4.0 beta.

When you check the forums for new posts like every 5 minutes

I use the F5 key.
