Ok, so I think we should make a home system, and would like to know if anybody has ideas for this to happen.

Okay I'll bite. I'm not gonna say you're dumb, but why a console precisely? And what sort of console?
These days more than ever a console is just a very specific sort of computer so what are you wanting the console to do? I'm willing to bet you can do it with your computer. Heck you could build a tiny specialized computer with controllers that hooks up to a TV.
Actually any sort of modern console seems like overkill for GE, and anything older, why not just have the PC do it? That leaves portable devices. Some kind of DS-like device would be rather cool. I understand GE exports to GP2X... but I've never even heard of the things til I got GE. Anyone know more about them?
So I'd like to see a dedicated gaming portable as well as the mobile phone export, but I'm curious as to what you want the console to do?

Unix based console! might be pretty cool. Would also allow for faster game play since the console is dedicated to run your game. Only your game.
The question to ask, is production of this possible, and if so, will we sell them to make profit or to loose some?

wow, well the only possible way is to hire some company that is good, but not stud (remember were not talking something like Wii, or Wii HD, but a simple thing that only plays games that is small like gamecube, but not as powerful) that isn't expecting nintendo sized money, and then the question is how do we put games in console, a disc, or a cartridge, and then the hardest part is how do we fit it into stores that have the 3ds, and in a year, the Wii HD. After that Makslane would have to ask himself if he would make a small profit from each console sold or a big profit. Then we as providers will either sell our games to him, or since technically if he didn't make GE we wouldn't be making the game, and give it to him for free. This could grant passages for GE to be the next Nintendo, and our mascot couldn't be GE pacman unless we bought pacman from owner which would be hard.

Tried to see how you build your own hardware for consoles, didn't have results, so anyone know better question. I had, "How to make Console Hardware" -Wikipedia

If you wanted to make costum parts for the console then you could pay a company to do it for you
However, instead of making the console from scratch, you could buy computer parts and put them inside a shell (you know what I mean?). My friend knows how to configure computers to play xbox games so I'll talk to him and see if he can be of any help in the development of this system
By the way, what will it be called and what will the logo look like?

yes I am back on GE, but I will be on it if I see a topic of mine replied to, or if someone is on chat, and can he make Unix Based Consoles from parts, name don't know, but AVERAGEBOY is a possibility since average people make the games.Logo is hard one since GE pacman is logo of GE, but we'd have to get rights to use it since pacman is not our guy to use. The company that makes game is G(E)AMES. Make it cool looking.

i like this topic- asked around about is caanoo (latest gp2x) would be able to host g.e games- g.e button and stylus/mouse set up option were set up to deal with gp2x specifically and the caanoo can connect to a tv like a console. never got a positive answer on if it was supported though.
The pc is best for power but a net book would be the best solution to a desire to have a console for g.e games- small and tv connective via hdmi and multiple controllers that can be registered via xpadder- use deul analogue sticks to move mouse etc.
The problem with modern consoles these days it that they also have to potential to be pc's but are restricted from doing so- not having that flexibility can get to you if you want to exploit their muscle for your own games. pc/laptops don't do that to you so if you have a bit of cash i would consider a trendy looking netbook- remove all unnecessary software to minimize background tasks and put a nice wallpaper on to represent it- even try to customize the start up sequence if you can.

How about we start by joining the development team and we create some professional quality games, then work on the console later ;D

Hmm interesting idea... what we could do is develop a Linux operating system specially for Game Editor! Trying to optimize so it can run GE faster than normal computers as it will be dedicated for it!
We could probably have a web based program where the user would get his games from too, kinda like apple
