Try checking in a CD of yours that has an auto run, check what the AUTORUN.ini file says! (i think its ini, wait, im going to check...its inf)

Here is an example:

[autorun]
OPEN=Autorun.exe
Icon=bvrp.ico

when i put in the oblivion disk
then open the files in the disk on windows explorer
the oblivion autorun says

[autorun]
open=OblivionLauncher.exe
icon=Oblivion.ico

mine says

[autorun]
OPEN = game menu.exe

This works for oblivion but not for me.
I dont know why.

are you sure your putting the Autorun.inf file in the CD itself, and, not a folder on the CD?
try putting the "OPEN" to "open" and try to add the "icon" at the end, and try not placing a space before and after the =, because it will check for the file " game menu.exe" and there is no space at the start...

Try putting this:
Code: Select all
[autorun]
open=game menu.exe
icon=game menu.exe,0

I think it's case sensitive. I think that ASCII, and INF codes are case sensitive.

Make sure that the file specified is putted into the root of the CD and not into any sub folder, this goes the same for the autorun file, and make sure that the extension are shown.
