Error: Access violation at 0x004F3E36 (tried to read from )x0000001),program terminated.

Hello:

Unfortunately,I've been away from GE for a while. Today I finally had a little time to get back to using GE and I stumbled upon the above error. I have the most current GE version.

The error always occurs when I create an event and add the action "Script Editor". I then try to select any variable/function from the displayed script editor menu. The program crashes. I've tried restarting my computer, but the error is consistent.

Maybe there is a software conflict on my system. :?:

Is anyone else is experiencing this problem? TIA

Hi Just4Fun, welcome back :-)

Can you tell me what the function are you selecting?

Hi Makslane:

Thank you. Nice to be back (for a while maybe). Game Editor is growing up!

Now my problem:

1. Add Event --> Mouse Down (or any event)
2. Add Action --> Script Editor
3. Select Variable/Function Button in Script Editor.
4. Select x,y, or any Function or variable on the pop up list and the program crashes.

*I think this may be a conflict on my system because it is a major crash and I'm sure others would have found it by now if it was within Game Editor. I suspect some kind of software conflict. TIA
