What operating system do you use for everything?
I use Ubuntu Linux.

Windows 7 (x64) Home Premium.
I had Ubuntu once, and liked it, but that computer broke up.
I may get Ubuntu back some day, though.

Windows 8.1 with the incredibly useless start screen fortunatly in this update they added the start button, that was removed in win 8
also i don't have any issues with gE , everything works correctly

Win 7 Ultimate x64... I don't know why do I use x64 because I only have 2 GB RAM xD

I think I'm one of a few here who use Windows 8.1

Also, they bringing back traditional start menu and traditional windows for metro apps

I have a laptop with Windows 7 and a Mac, I also have Ubuntu installed to a external hardrive bootable from my Mac.
