Ok I converted the game to my windows mobile device and its really slow down. I dont know why did you use canvas to draw any graphics?? Mobile machines dont have good processors so when you make games for them you have to think about data control alot.

Sorry man. I didnt use canvas for making graphics!

The game was made for iPhone, not for other devices. ;)

iPhone (3Gs) have little faster procesor than the other devices.

If you want, I can make the game "faster" and send it to you. ;)

Even on iphone the performance is not good. But we already talked about optimization. I didnt see any canvas
but activation regions, no events when out of view... should help.

Any other ideas? Would be interested how performs when optimized on your windows phone krenesis. What device is it?

Well. I have few actions on Out of Vision. One canvas actor but its only
made for cheats. :D

This game was first made for PC, then I just re-edit it for iPhone.

Ok there is alot of ground to cover on mobile. Mobile devices only have 500mhz to maybe 1ghz so they are very limited plus you dont get the full proccessing power because of programs running in the background. Because there so much ground I will do a topic on mobile data control session . It will be up later today. You did a great job on the game,, but phones are much slower. I ported the God of war to my device which has 580 qualcom pross.

Ok camper here is a couple of points.
1) No infinite actors
2)try to find ways to code as little as possible. If you look at all the games I made you see that I used very little coding.I saw some moveto and event disable commands that you might not need. I actual looked at your coding because I was surprised and very impressed at your save points in the game. But there was so much code I didnt get to see how you did it.
3) dont use too many regions they slow game down alot.
4) with the view dont let it recieve events out of view.
That should be it not too much. The only games from GE that I ever ported to my phone is yours and DST. DST makes it for computer so its always slow but fun. The same for your game its one of best games I ever played. And its free!!!

OK man. I will try to make my games better in future. ;)

About that checkpoints. Very easy, no coding and effective looking.

OK fir you have to make one actor called SPAWN and one filled region called view_move

so, everytime you hit the checkpoint the SPAWN actor moves to you and actor view_move moves
to view. ;)

Thats everything. When you fall down if moves you back to the SPAWN and it move view to the view_move.
